GRB Newman designs offers four different models in the c1 marathon class (the Stealth series and the Stinger). The newest and most versatile addition to this competitive racing fleet is the Stinger. The Stinger is unlike any other racing boat in its class. It handles extremely well in rougher water and is well received by aggressive paddlers. One of the most striking differences between this boat and other boats in its class is its stability, both primary and final stability are excellent. The boat accelerates quickly and takes little energy to maintain speed. The Stinger's design offers a greater weight capacity without sacrificing speed or performance. It also makes running portages more enjoyable, the boat weighs in at 19 pounds. The Stealth Series are comprised of three models, accomodating different sized paddlers. All Marathon c1s comes standard with a sliding seats, carbonfiber gunwales and thwarts. |
